Family research

Family investigation encompasses private inquiries focused on the client's personal and family life. A duly licensed private detective gathers information and evidence about personal or social conduct (for example, in cases of infidelity , custody disputes , or control of minors ) to determine the truth. These investigations are conducted discreetly and confidentially , with the aim of protecting the client's interests and providing solid evidence that can be used in personal decisions or family legal proceedings. Law 5/2014 on Private Security expressly authorizes this type of investigation in the area of personal and family life, provided that they are carried out by licensed detectives and without invading the privacy of the home.

Most common assumptions

INVESTIGATION OF INFEDELITIES

Service requested when there is suspicion of cheating within a couple. The detective conducts follow-ups and obtains evidence (photographs, videos) that confirms or rules out infidelity , helping the client make informed decisions about their relationship. Although infidelity is not a crime, the evidence gathered can be decisive in divorce proceedings or prenuptial agreements , in addition to providing the client with certainty about the real situation.

MONITORING IN PROCESSES OF

CUSTODY

CHILD CUSTODY FAMILY INVESTIGATION.jpg

It is carried out when one parent fears that the other is not adequately fulfilling their parental responsibilities during a custody or visitation arrangement. The detective documents facts such as possible negligence, inappropriate behavior, or noncompliance with visitation arrangements, gathering objective evidence that can be presented to a judge to review the custody conditions. For example, if there is a suspicion that the custodial parent is leaving the child alone or in unsuitable environments , the detective will provide conclusive evidence of this. The investigator's role is to turn suspicions into valid evidence before the court, since a child's testimony alone is usually not enough, but a report with evidence can influence the court's decision.

CONTROL OF MINORS

(CHILDREN'S CONDUCT

TEENAGERS)

Aimed at parents concerned about their minor children's activities outside the home . The detective verifies, for example, whether the minor attends or skips school, what company they frequent, whether they engage in risky behavior (alcohol, drug, gambling, etc.), or any situation that may affect their well-being. There must always be a legitimate reason and a family connection to conduct this investigation, and the goal must be to protect the minor. The evidence obtained (such as photographs of the teenager in certain companies or locations) allows parents to take informed steps to correct the situation. In extreme cases, these reports can also be useful in legal proceedings (for example, to modify custody terms if it is proven that the minor is not being adequately supervised by the other guardian).
